FAQ's | What you need to know about Healing with Plant Terpenes

Should I Buy CBD From Hemp or Marijuana?

What you should buy depends on the intended use. All CBD is not quality CBD. The human body doesn’t care where this cannabinoid is sourced from either hemp or cannabis, but when it comes to CBD oil, it’s not just about cannabidiol; there are other cannabinoids to take into account, as well as terpenes and other phytochemicals.

According to studies conducted by experts in the cannabinoid field, all constituents in cannabis work synergistically to produce the unique set of effects in each strain. These effects are stronger than those produced by each cannabinoid alone. This phenomenon is commonly known as the entourage effect.

Be very careful in selecting marijuana-derived CBD oil, as the amount of THC can vary greatly. THC contains psychoactive properties, and keep in mind the increased probability that amounts will be found through employee or other required drug tests. Please remember you must live in a state with a legal medical or recreational marijuana market. If, however, you’re looking for a federally-legal product that will still offer the full spectrum of cannabinoids — with only trace amounts of THC — then hemp-derived CBD oil is likely the way to go.

What Are the Benefits of CBD and Whole-Plant Hemp Supplements?

Many people integrate CBD into their health routine to support cellular and molecular health. CBD, or cannabidiol, is just one of over 100+ cannabinoids that can be extracted from hemp. In fact, scientists have found that the cannabinoid plant compounds have a better effect on the body when they work together, rather than alone. This means that CBD, together with Terpenes, can support the body more fully than just CBD alone. Among the many benefits our users experience are a greater sense of calm or focus, as well as general relief from everyday stress.

Is JAMPHA Marijuana?

No. Jampha products come from certified organic industrial hemp plants, notmarijuana. Hemp and marijuana are close relatives, but not the same. By definition, hemp contains no more than 0.3% THC, the psychoactive compound found in higher concentrations in marijuana. By contrast, hemp naturally has higher levels of CBD, a non-psychoactive compound known for helping human bodies maintain health and overall wellness.

What Other Cannabinoids are in Jampha SETI and Products?

The full-spectrum organic CBD distillate we use to formulate our products has up to 30 or more cannabinoids per batch. We test for around ten cannabinoids. These include, but are not limited to, CBG, CBN, CBD, CBT, CBC, CBV, Delta 8 and are always 0.3% or less THC in dry weight in compliance with USDA rules and regulations.

Why Do Terpene Profiles Matter?

Different terpene profiles create different results. Some terpenes have been proven to help specific conditions, or have cause-specific effects. Terpenes are chemicals with a huge array of fragrances, flavors, and effects. Their extractions from plants are the most important components of essential oils used in herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, and cosmetics.

By creating full-spectrum CBD with Synergy Enhanced Terpene Infusions, we are able to create a more targeted product compared to products without terpene profiles. Due to its low THC content, hemp-derived CBD oil has no psychoactive effects on the user. In other words, you can’t get high off CBD hemp products. Instead, you may feel relaxed, more alert, free of physical and mental discomfort, and notice positive changes in your overall well-being.

This is thanks to how CBD works in the endocannabinoid system, in addition to our proprietary terpene Infusions and their well-documented synergistic effects on the body. Jampha full-spectrum CBD distillate is solvent and contaminant free. We undertake third-party testing on every batch to ensure there are NO pesticides, mycotoxins, solvents, or other contaminants. Certificates of Analysis from Confidence Analytics are available on our website and by request for all batches for two years from purchase.

What is the Difference Between Hemp Oil and CBD Oil?

There’s so much confusion between these two terms. Some people refer to “hemp oil” when speaking abouthemp seed oil while others use it as shorthand to refer to oil that carries CBD (cannabidiol) extract. Let’s tackle the first one first.

Oil from hemp seeds is primarily composed of dietary fats, which means it can provide benefits for skin but does not include all of the same plant compounds (such as CBD). These phytocannabinoids -- cannabidiol, among others -- are found naturally in the leaves and flowers (also known as “aerial parts”) of hemp.

After deriving the cannabinoids from plant parts during our production process, we’re left with a broad-spectrum hemp extract that retains a range of phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids - all of which are found naturally in hemp. This extract is then diluted with a carrier oil to make the final Jampha products, whether that be our hemp extract infusions or topicals.

Will Jampha CBD Show Up On a Drug Test?

As a full-spectrum cannabinoid extract, in addition to cannabidiol (CBD) and more than 80 other cannabinoids in hemp, Jampha may contain a trace amount of the cannabinoid THC; always less than 0.3%. Much like the consumption of poppy seeds may lead to a positive drug test for opioids, the consumption of certain hemp products may lead to a positive drug test for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is inherently present in trace amounts in hemp plants.

The legal limit of THC in hemp is no more than 0.3%. It’s important to understand that the underlying science behind the conversion of certain cannabinoids to other related cannabinoids when consumed is not yet fully understood. If you are subject to drug testing we strongly suggest consulting your health care provider before consuming hemp products because of individual biochemistry, the potential for the conversion of cannabinoids, and the possibility of trace, but legal, amounts of THC inherent in hemp products.

To summarize, we simply cannot guarantee that CBD will not show up on a drug test. Even trace amounts may put you at risk for THC results showing up in a drug test.

HOW DOES CBD OIL WORK?

The human body has a vast network of receptors, called the Endocannabinoid System. The purpose of this system is to help our body stay balanced and in good overall health, even when external factors and certain lifestyle choices diminish our well-being.

CBD, and other cannabinoids, fit into the receptors of the Endocannabinoid System, helping the body complete its efforts to keep us in good health by supporting many of the body’s physical processes.

What Will I Feel Like When I Take CBD Oil?

Each body is different, so everybody will have a different response. Since hemp extract with cannabinoids works with the body’s internalEndocannabinoid System to maintain good health, the effect is personalized based on what you have going on internally. That being said, quite a few people mention a feeling of relaxation, while others note that hemp extract helps them feel focused.

Are There Side Effects To Taking CBD Oil?

CBD is generally well-tolerated and is considered safe. As with any other supplement, there is a chance CBD could cause adverse reactions for some people, and/or could interact with certain medications. As with any dietary supplement, consult your physician before use if you are pregnant, nursing, have or are suspected to have a medical condition thought to be affected by CBD, or are taking any medications.

Who Can Take CBD Oil?

Studies show that hemp extract with CBD can be well-tolerated by many. Since the most common results of taking CBD are calm, increased focus, relief from exercise-induced inflammation, support for healthy sleep cycles, and relief from everyday stresses, anyone looking for balance in these areas might benefit from a cannabinoid extract with CBD and additional plant compounds. And don’t forget about your furry friends! Pets can also benefit from CBD.

How Do I Choose a Product and How Much Do I Take?

Everyone has different needs which is why we developed seven distinct terpene profiles intended to make finding the right dose and oil easier for you. We recommend starting with our 30mg per dose size and working your way up to our 100mg per dose sizes. If taking any medications, consult your doctor before substituting for our products.

Why Would You Want Full-Spectrum Hemp vs. CBD Isolate?

Hemp has a symphony of over 400 compounds like cannabidiol (CBD), secondary phytocannabinoids, as well as terpenoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. These compounds work synergistically to heighten the positive effects of cannabidiol. That’s why we believe so strongly in creatingwhole-plant hemp extracts. The entourage effect is our goal with each formulation. We do this through terpenes and the highest-quality certified organic, full-spectrum CBD distillate.

How Does Jampha Ensure a Consistent Product?

Jampha is committed to making every single product the best possible extraction of Mother Nature, and we do so by overseeing the entire production process. This starts by testing soils, and then testing plants as they grow to ensure correct phytochemical profile. Of course, we also test the final product to ensure each batch contains at least the prescribed amounts of CBD and other components. We make sure there are zero pesticides, mycotoxins, solvents, or contaminants in every batch using the most stringent testing available.
